Good product. This is a great, thin, classy portfolio. Works well for me because of its stiff bottom it stands easily and had plenty of individual compartments.

This is a great looking, well-made briefcase at what seems like a ridiculously low price. I have been using mine for several months and am exceedingly happy with it. I don't use the shoulder strap (another reviewer complained about it), but as far as I can tell this is a high quality, durable item that seems like it would cost a lot more. The inside pockets are just fine for my needs (carrying papers and the occasional book). The fittings/fasteners appear to be good quality and all work smoothly. No complaints at all!

The bag arrived in reasonable time. Altman Luggage Co. customer support was prompt and courteous when I requested a tracking number which they provided shortly after. The bag arrived in a beautiful black box with Kenneth Cole label outside. I was surprised just by the quality of the box it came in. The packaging inside was superb. Immediately I noticed the fresh smell of leather. The bag itself is absolutely great. An elegant looking bag suitable for any business involved person, teacher, or student wanting to carry books, laptop (15inch at most), etc. with a bit of class! As others have mentioned the buckles aren't actual buckles, instead they are these metallic clips that work great and feel really sturdy. They can't be seen in the pictures provided but they can be found under the buckle straps at the bottom part of the bag. The shoulder strap itself feels sturdy and the rubber shoulder support does not rub off nor does it leave a black stain and feels very comfortable. It also has the Kenneth Cole Reaction engraved in it which looks great. I've never left a review for any item I've purchased through amazon however I felt compelled to express my satisfaction with this bag. A must buy for anyone looking for such a bag at a very affordable price. I highly recommend it!

My bag is finally looking worn. Keep in mind that I have shoved papers, textbooks, laptop, lunch, and/or a purse in this bag almost daily (think of Mary Poppins). The bag has been sturdy enough that my back has been thrown out due the junk I have piled in it; I banned myself from it while pregnant. I just can't seem to resist packing it full. It looks like a divider that is in my bag from '98 is missing from this newer version(the price seems lower too). I agree with the review of the rubber thing on the strap...a black lab I had back in '01 chewed half of it up so I used some random strap a few years ago to look a little more professional. Enjoy!
